Event Details

▶Creating opportunities for Japanese manufacturers to upgrade their products through direct dialogue with the world's top researchers and engineers.

Harwell Japan Day 2025 will be held at the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus, the UK's largest innovation hub where leading research in space, quantum, energy, and life sciences converges. The event features “Japan Day”, a specialized exhibition introducing unique technologies and products developed by Japanese small and medium-sized enterprises. Participating companies will have the opportunity to engage directly with global researchers and developers, responding to real on-site needs. Both the UK Government and the European Space Agency (ESA) are paying close attention to this event, recognizing it as a key opportunity for future international collaboration and technological partnerships.

このイベントでは、日本の中小企業が持つ独自の技術や製品を紹介することに特化した展示会「Japan Day」が企画されており、出展企業は
世界の研究者や開発者と直接対話しながら、現場のリアルなニーズに応えるチャンスを得られます。
イギリス政府および欧州宇宙機関（ESA）も本イベントに注目しており、今後の国際連携や技術協力の起点として、非常に高い関心を集めているイベントです。

今回の目的

▶︎日本の町工場の技術や製品をイギリス市場に展開しイノベーションを生み出すことを目指します。
  • 研究者と日本の技術者が直接ものづくりをする機会をつくります。
  • 町工場が一歩踏み出すための後押しをします。
  • 10年後の未来に不安を抱える企業をサポートし、現状を打破します。
  • 日本の技術の窓口となる「日本連合ラボ」をイギリスにつくり、研究者と情報共有、ディスカッション、企画・試作ができる場を目指します。
